Milo S. Afong

Milo S. Afong enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1999 as an Infantryman (Grunt). Shortly after, he passed indoctrination into the STA (Surveillance and Target Acquisition) platoon, and graduated first in his class from the 1st Marine Division Scout/Sniper School. He is an Iraq War combat Veteran.

Milo's first book, titled "HOGs in the Shadows" details the accounts of Marine Scout/Snipers in Iraq. His follow up book is titled "Hunters: US Snipers in the War on Terror" and gives readers a look at US Army Special Forces, US Navy Seal, US Army, and US Marine snipers in Iraq and Afghanistan. His latest book is written with Mr. Joseph Chamblin, the Marine Sniper in charge of 3/2 Scout Sniper Platoon in Afghanistan, and is titled "Into Infamy: A Marine Sniper's War".
