Eric J. Jenkins

Eric is a licensed architect, educator and mixed-media experimenter.

He teaches at the University of Maryland, the Maryland Institute College of Art, and at Virginia Tech's Washington-Alexandria Architecture Center.

He has taught design studios, theory, freehand sketching, and research methodologies. Additionally, he has directed study programs in the Middle East, Asia and Europe. He is the recipient of several teaching and design awards; his award-winning artwork has been exhibited at several locations including the Strathmore Mansion and the Waverly Street Gallery. He is recipient of three Architectural Record’s Annual Cocktail Napkin Sketch contest awards.

Eric earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from the University of Maryland and as well as Master of Design Studies from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design.
