Dan Taylor

Dan Taylor is a former award-winning television sportscaster. He is the author of six books. Mr. Taylor's work includes Baseball at the Abyss, Walking Alone, and the acclaimed Lights, Camera, Fastball which was a finalist for the 2021 Casey baseball book of the year award. His prior works include Rise of the Bulldogs, A Scout's Report, and Fate's Take Out Slide. He is a member of the Society for American Baseball Research and contributes to their biography project. During his thirty-year career as a television sportscaster he was recipient of the Associated Press award for Best California Sportscast. He is currently the television broadcaster for the Fresno Grizzlies and resides in Fresno, California
