Konstantin Pollok

Konstantin Pollok is Professor of Philosophy at the University of South Carolina, Columbia.

He obtained his doctorates (Dr. phil., Dr. phil. habil.) from Marburg University, Germany. He was the recipient of the 2004 International Junior Kant Prize, and held fellowships at the Stanford Humanities Center and the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University.

He is the author of *Kants Metaphysische Anfangsgründe der Naturwissenschaft: Ein Kritischer Kommentar* (2001), *Begründen und Rechtfertigen: Eine Untersuchung zum Verhältnis zwischen rationalen Erfordernissen und prävalenten Handlungsgründen* (2009), and *Kant's Theory of Normativity: Exploring the Space of Reason* (2017).

Konstantin Pollok is the winner of the 2018 North American Kant Society book prize for his *Kant's Theory of Normativity: Exploring the Space of Reason*.
