Condition: Very good. INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY RICHILD HOLT - Quarto [approximately 11 inches high by 8-1/4 inches wide], softcover bound in pictorial wrappers. The binding is lightly rubbed with some small, very light creases to the front wrap. 57 pages plus colophon. Profusely illustrated in color and black & white. Very good. Inscribed by the artist to a family member on the title page in the year of publication and signed in full.There is a two-page introduction by the artist. She notes that there will be a major exhibition of her work at the National Arts Club, New York City in June 1989.

Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. So, let me start by stating that this is a one-of-a-kind item. Why? Well, this book was published by the National Arts Club of Gramercy Park, N.Y. , whose president for many years was O. Aldon James Jr. (Google his name to read about the scandal that led to New York State suing Mr. James for misuse of money leading eventually to his being fired). The book is a catalog of an exhibition held at the National Arts Club between December 7 and December 24, 2006. Included with the book is the original invitation to the Gala Opening Reception held on December 15, 2006. It is in fine condition (see photo). Getting back to 'one-of-a-kind', the artist, Richild Holt, has inscribed (with a drawing) the book to Aldon James and his twin brother John. Furthermore, on the following page there is a portrait of the twins (see photo). As to condition, I would describe it as Very Good Plus or Near Fine. It has a crease (first photo) at the bottom right-hand corner of the front cover. Otherwise it's in exceptional condition, solidly bound, no writing, no soiling, no markings. Inscribed by Author(s).
