Kenneth A. Jackson

Kenneth A. Jackson is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Arizona in Tucson. He was head of Materials Physics Research at AT&T Bell Laboratories for many years. His major scientific interests are in the kinetic processes, especially crystal growth. He pioneered in atomic scale computer simulation studies of the these processes. He has received many awards for his scientific contributions. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering.
