Bob Aubrey

With 30 years of experience in the field of human development, Bob Aubrey has an esteemed career in the roles of entrepreneur, consultant, educator, innovator, strategist as well as author.

He says: "My career purpose is to contribute to human development in thought leadership, working with businesses or in policy. I'll probably still be doing human development when I'm ninety."

The thread running through his books, mostly written in English but some in French and one in Chinese, is how to develop people and how they develop themselves. Bob's books have explored leadership, personal development, human development at work, learning in companies, the future of work and of education, and advice for self-managed learning and development.

Bob Aubrey is Founder of the ASEAN Human Development Association (AHDO), Chairman of the HR Committee of the European Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and Managing Partner of Bob Aubrey Associates for his consulting work. He has helped start-ups develop their organisations for IPO, set up his own international company, taught as business school professor in Europe and Asia and worked as an expert in human capital development on 6 continents. He set up Apple's first corporate university outside the USA, taught the first personal development course in a Chinese university, created the first personal development and mentoring certification programs and invented the concept of key development indicators.
