Erick SURCOUF (Expedition manager)

Descendant of Robert Surcouf (1773-1827), ‘ King of corsairs’ of Napoléon 1st.

Promoter and expedition leader, since 1976, of various marine archaeology campaigns (Haiti, Mozambique channel, Mauritius, Seychelles, Polynesia, Indonesia, Bahamas) on Spanish galleons, Portuguese carracks, East India Companies vessels, Dutch, English and French, Pirate ships and Chinese junks and land treasures campaigns in Mauritius, Polynesia and Bahamas.

President of jury and member of many book and film festivals.
