Jan Groft is the author of JOY CHEST: Treasures for the Journey Ahead; ARTICHOKES & CITY CHICKEN: Reflections on Faith, Grief, and My Mother’s Italian Cooking; AS WE GRIEVE: Discoveries of Grace in Sorrow (winner of the Foreword Book Award and Living Now Book Award); and a spiritual memoir, RIDING THE DOG: My Father’s Journey Home.
An MFA in Writing graduate of Vermont College and former advertising agency president/creative director, Jan has garnered more than 200 awards for creative excellence. She lives in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and enjoys family, friends, biking, needlepoint, and other people's cooking.
