Arnold Hermann

Arnold Hermann is author of the award-winning *Illustrated To Think Like God: Pythagoras and Parmenides—The Origins of Philosophy*; the fully annotated scholarly edition of *To Think Like God*; and *Plato's Parmenides: Text, Translation & Introductory Essay.* He also co-edited *Presocratics and Plato: Festschrift at Delphi in Honor of Charles Kahn.* His essays and lectures, including "Soul Engineering and God Building—Way Stations to an Atheist Theocracy" (2025), are available on Academia at edu.

For the past thirteen years, Arnold Hermann has devoted himself primarily to fiction, guided by Albert Camus' insight that "fiction is the lie through which we tell the truth."

He has been working on a new work of historical/philosophical "true fiction" titled The Ouranian Chronicles Series. *Book One: Masks of God* has been released. Forthcoming volumes include *Soul Engineer,* *Brotherhood of Shadows,* and *Palace of Regret.*
