V. Ulea

V. Ulea (Vera Zubarev), Ph.D., is a bilingual Russian-English poet, writer, scholar and film director. She has won many prestigious international awards for her works, including the Honorary Diploma in the nomination of Monograph for the book A Systems Approach to Literature: Mythopoetics of Chekhov’s Four Major Plays (Taganrog, January, 2010). She teaches classes on Russian literature and decision making in literature, film, and the game of chess in the University of Pennsylvania. Her articles and reviews have appeared in SEEJ, Voprosy literatury, Novyj philologicheskij vestnik and other journals and collections.

She teaches classes on Decision Making in Chess, Literature and Film at the University of Pennsylvania.
