John Hamilton

John is a former film critic who has been writing on British cinema for 30 years, including critically-acclaimed books and documentaries. His numerous articles and interviews, published in The Dark Side, Little Shoppe of Horrors, Retro Cinema, Shivers, etc., feature such icons as: Alfred Hitchcock, Roman Polanski, Joseph Losey, Hammer legends Freddie Francis and Christopher Lee, as well as Susan George and Diana Dors. He has also contributed commentaries and ‘to camera’ pieces for a number of Blu-ray releases, and appeared on the BBC’s British Films Forever. In 2011, the film of his screenplay premiered at the Lumiere cinema in London.
