Lisa Turner

Lisa Turner is a food writer, nutrition consultant and embodied eating coach, with more than 30 years of professional experience and training. She has written five books on health and nutrition, and hundreds of magazine articles; her work has appeared in Self Magazine, Clean Eating, Yoga Journal, Alternative Medicine, Natural Health, Vegetarian Times, Better Nutrition and many other national publications.

In addition to writing, Lisa has founded and co-founded several companies in the natural and organic arena, and currently consults with national food and supplement companies on product development and brand strategy. She is a faculty instructor with Bauman College of Nutrition and Culinary Arts, and teaches nutrition and embodied eating to corporations and groups.

Lisa is a member of Sterling Rice Group's Culinary Council and serves as food and nutrition advisor for Conscious Alliance, a non-profit organization that helps feed communities in crisis. In the rest of her life, she is a second-degree black belt and instructor in Ninjutsu martial arts, and is helping to develop a national program to train young women in self-protection.
