Howard Stidwill

Howard Stidwill, Ph.D., is the author of "The Exercise Mentor for Cancer Patients," a series of books written to help cancer patients maintain and restore physical function lost to the cancer experience. With a doctorate in Kinesiology, Dr. Stidwill has developed outpatient programs and conducted workshops on exercise therapy for cancer patients. He has taught graduate courses and presented and published numerous professional papers related to cancer and exercise. He also writes a running column, “And Miles To Go,” and does so with his rescue friends Walnut and Sapphie in the Chicago suburbs.
