Pete Mullineaux lives in Galway, Ireland, where he teaches global issues through drama and creative writing in schools through organisations like Poetry Ireland and Afri (Action from Ireland). Pete has published five poetry collections, most recently 'We are the Walrus' (Salmon Poetry, Nov 2022). He's also written three plays for RTE radio, including the sci-fi 'Butterfly Wings'. His work has been discussed on Irish national radio's (RTE) leading arts/cultural programme, ARENA. He's written three teaching resources, including 'Interdependence Day - Teaching the Sustainable Development Goals through Drama for All Ages (Afri/Action from Ireland). 'Jules and Rom', his debut novel, mirrors the work he does in schools and with youth theatres, putting a sci-fi spin on Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet against a background of global issues such as war and climate change.
