Edna Cabcabin Moran

Edna Cabcabin Moran is an author/illustrator, multi-disciplined artist and educator who creates picture books, graphic novels, comics, and poetry. A select list of picture book titles include THE SLEEPING GIANT: A Tale From Kaua'i (BeachHouse, 2006) recipient of the Hawaiian Publishers Assoc. Ka Palapala Po'okela and HONU AND MOA (BeachHouse, 2018), which received the Aesop Accolades from the American Folklore Society. Ms. Cabcabin Moran is a contributor in the middle-grade comic anthology LET'S GO! (a Kids Comics Unite project, 2025) and in the select poetry anthologies: AN EYEBALL IN MY GARDEN (Marshall Cavendish, 2010), THANKU: Poems of Gratitude (Millbrook, 2019) and the upcoming title, FOR THE WIN: Poems Celebrating Phenomenal Athletes (Carolrhoda, 2026).
