Born and raised in Cincinnati, J. Miles Wolf attended Walnut Hills High School and pursued professional photography at Tulane University. Now four decades into his career, Miles is one Cincinnati’s finest photographers with numerous exhibits and eight published books to his credit.

Miles’ photographs are housed in the collections of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History and the Cincinnati Art Museum, and his framed prints hang in thousands of offices, hotels, and homes both here and across the country.

His architectural photography work has won many awards for his clients and has appeared in national publications such as Architecture, Architectural Record, Better Homes and Gardens, National Geographic Books and Popular Photography.

Miles is a prolific photographer with many collections and specialties. His bodies of work include photographs of Cincinnati, nature, and landscapes, architecture, cityscapes and the Olympics. He is currently using high-resolution Nikon digital cameras for most of his work but also shoots large format film on occasion. He has self-published eight books about Cincinnati with the newest Cincinnati Images 4 coming out in early 2018.
