Christine Overall

Christine Overall is Professor Emerita of Philosophy and University Research Chair at Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Her main areas of research and writing are feminist philosophy and applied ethics. Her books focus on philosophical issues that arise from thinking about some of the crucial features and events of our lived, embodied, human existence: gender, sex, sexuality, procreation, parenting, aging, and death. Her most recent book is an edited collection entitled "Pets and People: The Ethics of Our Relationships with Companion Animals."
