Michael C. Blackwell

Michael C. Blackwell is the author of "Above the Clouds." He has served as the President of Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina, the largest children's home network in the Southeast United States, for more than three decades. Blackwell is a native of Gastonia, NC, a journalism graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a former newspaper reporter and radio and television news anchor. He is an ordained minister with Master of Divinity, Master of Theology, and Doctor of Ministry degrees. Dr. Blackwell was awarded an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC, in 2003.
