Christina Becker is a Jungian Analyst in Toronto, Canada. The road to becoming a Jungian psychoanalyst started from her own soul journey. Like everyone who starts a healing journey, her first experience of seeking help was driven by finding relief for suffering and emotional chaos.
The road took different paths as she went deeper and deeper into herself. She eventually landed at the C.G. Jung Institute in Zurich, Switzerland, where she found meaning, purpose and fulfilment in exploring Jung’s ideas and experiences.
The C.G Jung Institute (Zurich) is the only institute in the world founded by Carl Gustav Jung. It is the source and the beginning of analytical psychology and still has close connections to the Jung family.
Training to be a Jungian Analyst was an amazing, exhaustive and intense experience. It was a special and unique kind of training that consisted of extensive post-graduate academic studies and a rigorous and lengthy personal analysis. Being in Zurich for 6 years demanded that she immerse herself in the experience of the soul/psyche away from home, family, and friends. Upon completion, she was awarded a Diploma of Analytical Psychology – a PhD equivalent – and which gave her the designation of Jungian Analyst.
Christina is devoted to her personal individuation journey and she brings that same devotion to working with clients and workshop participants. She is passionate about working with people who feel that they are on a quest for something.
