Patrick Joseph O'Connor

Patrick Joseph O'Connor, M.A. in communications, is interested in Kansas history. He has written about counterculture and neighborhoods in Wichita. O'Connor spent one year in England in 1971 where he was a registered alien. Current projects are writing animal tales and publishing reprints (ROWFANT PRESS) of important books on Kansas: HUNTING AND TRADING ON THE GREAT PLAINS 1859-1875 by James Mead and (2011) KANSAS IRISH by Charles Driscoll.

O'Connor designed and taught a course on the blues at Wichita State University and holds a keen interest in research in that music. His biographical entry can be read in the 2009 WHO'S WHO.
