T. Robert Fowler

The author was raised in Windsor Ontario but now lives in Ottawa. His interest in the military began in his early years and in the 1950s he served in the local militia regiment, The Essex Scottish Regiment. Following a career in the federal civil service, he returned to his main early intrest, writing about Canadian military history. He has had articles published in Canadian Military History Magazine and in The Canadian Army Journal, and has published three books on this subject.
