Jack R. Pyle

I was born in the United States of American in July, 1921. It was in a mining town town in Ohio called Floodwood, a town that doesn't exist anymore. In my early days I was secretary to Jan Struther, who wrote Mrs. Miniver. It became a movie with Greer Garson and Walter Pidgeon. Hey, it's still on the "old movie" list.

Yes, I wrote back then, and I shared an agent with Jan, but when my well-known agent told that brash young man he should rewrite a story, that did it!

Nine books and many years later I am a little less rash, but still an iconoclast. Don't expect my books to follow a genre. I go where my wild dreams tell me.

I invite you to look at the reviews.
