I have written 17 books on quilting subjects. I have also written several hundred articles on quilting and craft subjects.I teach around the country and I really enjoy sharing my ideas with other quilters.I was born in central Illinois and have also lived in MO, KY, WI, Canada, and WV.I have a blog - wwww.joycecreates.wordpress.com - where you can see some of my recent creative work.

I create miniature scenes, make jewelry, weave, and do freeform crochet.I am currently doing mixed media small quilts and designing contemporary quilts using Native American designs.
