I guess it all began when I was two. My baby sitter turned away to answer the phone for just a minute. So, I reached up on tippy toes and drank a bottle of dark blue writer's ink. Mayhem and panic ensued. "Not to worry," said the doctor. Decades later I figured out what to do with ink, the ball point pen, the typewriter, and the computer. My first book was in published in 1982. The first co-authored book (with my husband) followed in 1995.

Now, after thirteen non-fiction books, my next passion is to write historical fiction, with a romantic twist. The first book, "The Singer and the Sailor," was published in 2020. It is an exciting story about a small-town couple who fell in love despite a scandal and WWI service. A next book is about a city-dwelling couple with the challenging deaths of parents and a medical discharge during WWI.
