Tim Dearborn

Tim Dearborn has written or edited 15 books or monographs on mission, spiritual and social ethic related topics. He has a PhD in theology from the University of Aberdeen, Masters degrees from Harvard Divinity School and Fuller Theological Seminary in Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam; and in intercultural communication; and a bachelor's degree in History from Whitman College. He has taught for the University of Aberdeen, the Faculte de Theologie Evangelique in Paris, Regent College, Vancouver; Fuller Theological Seminary; Seattle Pacific University; and Sheldon Jackson College, Sitka. His wife, Kerry is professor emerita of theology at Seattle Pacific University. They have three grown daughters and eight grandchildren.

Prior to retirement , he served as the Director of the Lloyd John Ogilvie Institute of Preaching at Fuller Theological Seminary
