I discovered I loved writing after winning a competition as a young teenager in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) with a piece titled "Rocks on Hitchhike," in an era (1960s) when it was relatively safe to hitch hike long distances.

Details of 13 of my published books are available on my website ivanrudolph.com - one of which was made into a TV movie in South Africa and another (John Flynn of Flying Doctors) was the basis for a recent musical that the producers hope to work up to a Broadway presentation. Home is currently the beautiful Sunshine Coast of Australia. I am happily married to my editor Brenda, and we have four grown children and an expanding number of delightful grandchildren.
