Kay Matthews

Kay Matthews lives on a 10-acre farm in El Valle, New Mexico, where she grows hay, fruit, and vegetables along with her land grant neighbors whose ancestors have inhabited this beautiful valley for 300 years. As the longtime editor of an online (and previously print) journal of environmental politics, La Jicarita, she is an advocate for environmental and social justice in northern New Mexico.
