Jay Zinn

Jay Zinn became a Christian, January 9, 1972, while serving in the U.S. Air Force in Florida. During a month-long mission trip to Nicaragua, a calling began to stir in his heart and was later confirmed by a spiritual encounter in prayer. Orders came for a new assignment to an Air Force base in Anchorage, Alaska, which brought him into an apostolic church. His calling was confirmed there, through prophetic ministry, and after three years of equipping and training, the church ordained and sent Jay and his wife, Roseann, with a team of five people to plant their first church in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

After 36 years of pastoral and teaching ministry, Jay is currently serving his third church plant, established in 1999 in Davidson, North Carolina. He holds a Doctorate of Ministry and a Ph.D. in Theology from Logos Graduate School in Jacksonville, Florida. He is one of the founding members of Vanguard Network International, an accountability group of apostolic and prophetic ministers and churches, and serves as an apostle and mentor to other pastors and leaders. He travels several times a year, both nationally and internationally, as a conference speaker.

On a personal note, Jay is a published artist with Penny Lane Publishing, Inc. and his newest artwork is exhibited at the Shain Gallery in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is also a published author of the novel, The Unveiling.

He has been married to his bride Roseann since 1974. They have two adult children, and a granddaughter.
