Nadia Roden

I am an artist and designer. My work has been described in many ways but I like to think of it as playful and vibrant. I've worked on projects internationally and acquired awards along the way. ( www.nadiaroden.com )

I've created giant animations for live stage projection at the Manhattan Theatre Club and the Guthrie Theatre Lab in Minneapolis and The Kitchen theatre in NYC. I've animated short films for HBO TV and PBS Public Television, directed and animated 6 short films for Sesame Street International and created three National TV commercials for Publicis advertising group. My animations have been screened at film festivals worldwide and won many international awards.

I design silk scarves and prints for the Metropolitan Opera in New York and have my own line of printed fabrics.

My first book ‘Granita Magic’ is a glittering marriage of design & food, it won a gourmand award for best single subject book in the USA, my second '50 lolly recipes' which I created for my nephew's Ice Kitchen in London was a best seller and translated into 15 languages. The next, Ice Kitchen 'Poptails' is a collision of Ice Pops and cocktails!
