Marjorie Orr

Marjorie Orr grew up in Scotland, took an Honours English Literature & Philosophy degree at Glasgow, was a features writer with The Herald; a News & Currents Affairs Editor with STV; and TV documentary producer with the BBC – Is Anybody There?, St Kilda, Sean Connery Profile, the Politics of Poverty, The Four Seasons (SRIC Award). Took a Jungian psychotherapy training and became an astrologer with a global media presence and frequent TV and radio broadcasts in the UK.

Her ground-breaking book The Astrological History of the World was described by Stacy Keach as ‘living proof of astrology’; and by Angela Rippon as having a ‘sharp academic approach … absorbing … will make even rampant sceptics rethink their view of astrology.’ She’s also written two other astrology books and is now writing crime novels. Coming soon: ‘By the Light of a Lie’ – what will it take to avenge a dead friend and set an innocent man free from prison? Truth has a price which few are prepared to pay.
