Bill Williams

Bill Williams retired from high tech to focus on his passions and launch his own company. Previous to retirement, Williams was head of sales for a data center services company, and a technology leader at Cisco Systems, Inc. for over 25 years, focused on data center technologies in the Enterprise and Service Provider markets. He is the author of "The Economics of Cloud Computing," and "The Business Case for Storage Networks," a guide to quantifying the business value of storage networking technologies. "The Business Case for Storage Networks" has become a field sales manual for sales experts at Cisco Systems, Network Appliance, and EMC Corporation. Bill holds graduate degrees from Harvard Divinity School, the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, and the Warren Wilson MFA Program for Writers. Bill is a thirty-year industry veteran and holds a U.S. Patent for content networking. Bill lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with his three children.
