Ian Adamson is a world renowned endurance athlete, event director, producer, published author and motivational speaker. He has two decades working in the medical and outdoor product industries. Ian is president of World OCR, the Fédération Internationale de Sports d’Obstacles (FISO).
Ian is the most successful adventure racer of all time with ten world championship wins, 22 world championship podium finishes, 18 international adventure race championship titles and Gold, Silver and Bronze medals at the ESPN X-Games.
He is a three time Guinness world record holder for endurance kayaking (262 miles in 24 hours) and has competed internationally in adventure racing, triathlon, canoeing, kayaking, orienteering and sailing.
He was a founding member of Team Nike, the world's most successful adventure racing team, featured on the Eco-Challenge television show from 1995 through 2002. Ian raced professionally until 2007 and continues to participate as an age group athlete.
