John Malathronas

John Malathronas was born in Athens, Greece, but is a naturalised Brit, having lived in London for most of his life. He is a film buff and the owner of a vast music collection; he supports Tottenham Hotspur in soccer and has several photography certificates from the University of Westminster - as well as a degree from Imperial College, London.

John has worked as a music and travel journalist or as an itinerant computer programmer. He speaks five languages fluently, and it is these foreign language skills that have allowed him to provide valuable local insight in his travel writings at www.malathronas.com.

A social media addict, John is switching a lot of his energy from the printed word to the online blogosphere. He is a member of the Society of Authors, the British Guild of Travel Writers and the London Travelmassive.
