HOWARD JOHNSON, a Chemical Engineering graduate of Purdue University, says, “My life has been a blast.” He spent a varied engineering career in research, production, and consulting. His engineering consulting work for the US Navy and Air Force took him around the Pacific. This included several month long stints in Hawaii and a year he lived in the Philippines. He also raced sports cars for twenty years and Hobie sailboats for forty. After retiring from engineering work in 1999 he started writing and soon was pursuing writing full-time. Most recently, his non fiction book about the future of energy, Energy, Convenient Solutions, was released and is now available in bookstores. His first novel, Blue Shift, was published in 2002 with sequels to follow. He just published a new SciFi novel, The Crystal Feather in paperback and for the Kindle. Mr. Johnson lives in St. Augustine, FL with Daphne Fox and Charlie, their active little lhasa apso. They spend part of their summers on Tippecanoe Lake in Northern Indiana.
