Hi ~ Tracy Munn here, well, sewing has been a life-long love of mine, I've been sewing since I was 12, and now have 51+ years under my belt! do the math!

When I was asked to write Sewing Simple Slipcovers, I first thought, holy cow! I can never do this. But with a wonderful editor, art director, illustrator, photographer, the finished result was mind-boggling.

As I stated in my book, "I hope all who find this book encouraging and enlightening will embrace some of the ideas I've presented and enhance their own environments." If it's not nailed down, you can slipcover it!

As a side light, five years ago, I started my own sewing school, The Sew Simply Academy, www.sewsimply.com, and teach anything and everything associated with learning to sew or just improving skills you already have. I have started teaching a lot of children and I have come to love sharing my talents with young ones and see them flourish in learning this wonderful skill.
