Edward Steiner,MD graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Harpur College in 1978 with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. Following his undergraduate studies, he entered the University of Rochester School of Medicine and graduated Suma Cum Laude. Following an Internship in General Surgery, Dr. Steiner completed his Radiology Residency in the Department of Radiology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He was named Chief Resident in 1985 and was accepted as a Fellow in Interventional Radiology/Body Imaging at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital. In his 2 years at Harvard, he was promoted to Clinical Assistant Radiologist in 1986 and has published seventeen journal articles, reviewed two texts for national journals, and wrote two book chapters. Dr. Steiner has served as Director of Interventional Radiology/Body Imaging at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore since 1988. In 1994 was named Radiologist-in-Chief.
