Terry Powell

Terry Powell is passionate about helping other Christ-followers face the inevitable challenges to personal spiritual growth and fruitfulness. He writes in a conversational, transparent style to help you learn from his personal faith pilgrimage.

Terry is Faculty Emeritus in Church Ministry at Columbia International University in South Carolina, where he taught for 38 years. He served as a Christian Education Director on two church staffs for a total of 12 years and he’s a licensed preacher in the PCA (Presbyterian Church in America). Terry has taught and trained national Christian leaders overseas in numerous countries.

He’s the author of 20 books, including "Serve Strong: Biblical Encouragement to Sustain God’s Servants".

Terry and his wife of more than 50 years live in South Carolina. His hobbies include reading novels, writing poems and spoiling a dachshund. His constant prayer is, “Lord, make me half the man my dog thinks I am!”
