John Jackman is a Christian pastor, author, speaker, and filmmaker.
Jackman has been involved in television and movie production for over thirty years. For almost a decade he was contributing editor, regular columnist, and reviewer for "Digital Video Magazine." He has taught professional workshops for the American Film Institute, the National Association of Broadcasters, and the Library of Congress. He has written books on lighting and compositing special effects.
An ordained minister in the Moravian Church, he produces historical and faith-related films, including the award-winning feature film "Wesley," starring Burgess Jenkins, June Lockhart, and Kevin McCarthy and "Newton's Grace," the story of John Newton, he author of "Amazing Grace." He is currently working on a documentary about Jan Hus, the 15th century martyr and reformer.
Jackman's latest project is with his daughter Abigail -- together they are writing a series of children's books based on the true storied of their experiences with twenty pet ducks over the years. The first book in the series, "Grapevine Creek Ducks," has just been released on Amazon.
