Patrick Simpson

Patrick Simpson was born and grew up in Sidney, New York. He was with IBM for nearly thirty years, retiring in 1991 as an Advisory Information Developer. He and his wife Anne traveled literally around the world for a year, even though she was nearly wheelchair-bound by crippling Charcot joint disease in her ankles. Patrick wrote two books about their epic journey: Wheelchair Around the World and Wheelchair Down Under. His third book, Whither thou Goest, was winner of the JADA Press 2004 Nonfiction Book of the Year award. Desert Angels (2011) is his first historical novel, based on the Bannock Indian War of 1878.
