Biography

Born in the middle of the continent (Illinois) in the middle of the 20th Century, I always wanted to be a writer. My names as an author for my books include Elizabeth Taylor Greer, Elizabeth T. Greer, E. T. Greer, and Ibby Greer. "Ibby" is one of many, many nicknames for Elizabeth. Please look for my books under all these names.

I have lived all over the USA and in London and Vienna, Austria. In my first marriage I moved often because of my husband's jobs. I lived in CO, CA, TX, AZ, NJ, and FL between 1974 and 1981. I grew up in IL, summering in northern MI, wintering in southern FL. And I attended a girls' boarding school in CT for three years, a women's college in VA for four, and have a Master's Degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

I also am an artist. I paint. Check out my webpage, www.moonshinewidow.com for the paintings and painted hardshell gourds. I have worked as a free-lance editor and helped over ten authors get their book published on CreateSpace (now KDP).

I am a middle daughter, have friends all over, and am married to a sweet man whose passion is gardening. In other marriages my husbands were college professors and a nationally-known lawyer (CA and VA practice). He died in 2008 but we had a wonderful marriage.
