Throughout the 90s, I created illustrations both traditional and digital for many of the Weekly Reader educational magazines, including READ, Science!, and their online Prodigy magazine, back when the internet was powered by steam, and we measured our digital illustrations and animations in bytes. bytes!

Frog Counts to Ten was originally created as a school project while I was studying art and illustration at the University of Connecticut in the early 90s. The book was first published by Millbrook Press in Brookfield, CT who printed a library edition of 10,000 copies. Then it was distributed by Scholastic for several years.
