MaryEllen O'Brien, M.A.
Mary Ellen is a writer and creative with a background in media as well as theological studies. A veteran rock d.j., she was behind the microphone at radio stations around the U.S. and at the legendary Atlantic 252 Radio in the UK/Ireland, a station that could be heard throughout Europe in the 90s. Her somewhat eclectic background includes not only rock radio for over 25 years, but earning master's degrees in theology from Loyola University Chicago and Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. She also pursued Doctoral Studies at Loyola Chicago and taught undergraduate theology at Loyola and Lewis University in Illinois. MaryEllen has presented workshops and retreats around the country and in Canada.
MaryEllen currently resides in beautiful Hot Springs, Arkansas with her physician husband. Transcendental Meditation, Motorcycle Riding, Travel, Photography, and Writing are her passions. Inspired by the Navajo tradition after years of living in the Southwest, she tries to "Walk in Beauty" and relish the sacred gift of life.
