Garden writer, garden historian. Lives in Lewes in Sussex and attempts to garden on top of a chalk hill under a large beech tree.

Also written a novel as Ros Glancey about the problems of ageing, being a grandparent etc. Ie. it is a thinly disguised autobiography but heavily embroidered for comic effect.
