Trish Magee

Trish Magee, M.Ed is an Early Childhood and Parent Educator. Her diverse background spans over 40 years of education as a teacher, college instructor, school board president, author, program developer, and consultant to government, industry, and non-profits with a focus on early literacy. She was the first director of the Greater New York Reach Out and Read (ROAR) Coalition, and is the founding director of the RockingChairProject, a non-profit focused on nurturing economically disadvantaged mothers and newborns. She lives with her husband in West Hartford, CT, and has 4 children and 10 grandchildren.
