Marlis Day

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, retired teacher, and author. I live and write in southern Indiana. I wrote Why Johnny Died, Death of a Hoosier Schoolmaster, and The Curriculum Murders, all featuring teacher/sleuth Margo Brown. The mysteries are traditional and cozy - with some humor and cooking!

More recently, I wrote The Secret of Bailey's Chase, about two cousins who suddenly discover they have super powers when together. It is a 'tween mystery/fantasy. The sequel, Back to Bailey's Chase is available now. All of my books are set in Indiana.

I love to visit schools and discuss my books with middle-grade children. I also enjoy libraries, bookfairs, mystery and reading conferences.
