Suzanne Guthrie

Suzanne Guthrie is an Episcopal priest who has served the church as college chaplain, children's priest, Christian Education consultant, and parish priest, but writing and retreat work continues to be her primary ministry. Retreats throughout the United States reflect her interests in apophatic mysticism, the use of the memory palace for prayer, embodying text through pretending and play, mysticism of the liturgical year, and Carmelite spirituality. Her work in the last decade has mainly centered on the Song of Songs, ecological crisis, and the grief of God.
