Patrick was Ronald Reagan's first Advanceman: communications, transportation and security. As Special Assistant to Governor Reagan, he had extensive access to Reagan and the top aides in his cabinet. He spent 44 years heading task forces for Governor Reagan, handling special projects for President Reagan and interacting with the Reagans, colleagues and staff members. A respected civic leader and public speaker, Patrick helped Reagan set the cornerstone for his environmental programs at Lake Tahoe in California and Nevada. He served as Chairman of the Nevada Republican Party in the 1980's

Vol.1 He interviewed 49 of his colleagues, friends and staffers who worked with and for the Reagans from the beginnning of RR's political career. Many went all the way to the White House with the president. Patrick shares their intimate, personal, behind-the-scenes stories, anecdotes, insights and revelations about Reagan: many of which have never been told before.
