Darryl Harris

Darryl Harris was born and raised in Idaho. He worked for two daily newspapers prior to establishing his own magazine publishing company, Harris Publishing, Inc., in 1972. The firm has 60 employees and publishes national magazines such as SnoWest, Houseboat, Pontoon and Deck Boat, Great Lakes Boating, Diesel Tech, Potato Grower and the Sugar Producer. Later in life, he turned the publishing company over to his sons and began to write historical and adventure novels. He is author of Bear River, Abby's Crossing, Sky Dancer Is Missing, Finding Zarahemla, The Lady and the Knight, The Reformation of Elinor, Countdown Four, Hearts of the Fathers, and the Light & Truth series.
