Patrick C. Gregory

Patrick C. Gregory, CFA is an analyst and portfolio manager with 16 years of multi-industry experience. He is currently working as a Senior Equity Analyst for FM Global, where he manages the healthcare and TMT sectors of a $5.5 billion global equity portfolio.

Prior to joining FM Global, Patrick was a full-time faculty member at Bentley College. While at Bentley, he served as the Managing Director of the Hughey Center for Financial Services and was the recipient of the Davis Fellowship and the Innovation in Teaching Award.

Patrick has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in investments, risk management, and portfolio management for many years. He also helps CFA candidates prepare for the exams by teaching at programs offered through the Boston Security Analyst Society, Wellington Management, and Fidelity to name a few. The topics he teaches range from equity investments to derivatives and portfolio management.

Patrick is the author of Financial Management: A Practical Guide to Value Creation and co-author of Why Stocks Go Up and Down. Given his academic and industry experience, Patrick has appeared on CNN and CNBC and provided commentary to a number of news sources including the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Boston Globe, and LA Times.

Patrick is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and Boston Security Analysts Society (BSAS). He has advanced degrees in Finance (MBA) and Financial Planning (MS).
